UniSolver
Engineering calculations are tough enough. You have a problem to solve and there is never enough time. Keeping track of units, using them correctly, and looking up confusing conversion factors just complicates the process. Instead of converting numbers during and after the calculation, why not include the units directly in the calculation? Now you can! UniSolver™ lets you concentrate more on the solution to the problem than the process of solving the problem.
Numbers with their unit abbreviations are simply keyed in and the math operations performed without any prior conversions. UniSolver™ handles mixing of unit systems even in adding and subtracting. Units may be entered by their abbreviations or selected from the Units Selector pages. Pages in the Units Selector are organized by their type for easy and quick selection. Combinations of units may be built in the Units Selector by simply clicking on the units desired for the numerator or denominator.
Delta Engineering Corporation, the producer of such high-end engineering software as CamDesigner™, has just introduced an ingenious new tool to make your life simpler. Not only does this tool help with the conversion of all types of units, it acts as a standard scientific calculator. UniSolver™ is truly unique and revolutionary; an indispensable addition to your software library.
To illustrate the operational ease of UniSolver™, suppose the torque of a 2 kW motor running at 1250 RPM is desired in both N-m and in-lbf. With UniSolver™, simply type 2kw, press <ENTER>, type 1250rpm, press divide (with the AutoConv and SI buttons selected as shown in the picture above), the answer 15.27887454 N*m appears in the display. Type in-lbf and press the F11 key and 135.22943450 lbf*in appears in the display.
